Do you qualify for the secondary measures and how you can get them?

Can I use the Green Home Grant to install any of the secondary measures?

Your voucher can be used to instal any of the secondary measures as long as you have used the grant to install one of the primary measures, Insulation or Low Carbon Heating.

  • draught-proofing
  • double/triple glazing (where replacing single glazed windows)
  • secondary glazing (in addition to single glazing)
  • external energy-efficient doors (replacing single glazed or solid doors installed before 2002)
  • heating controls
  • hot water tank thermostats and insulation

You cannot spend more on secondary measures than you did on a primary measure, it must be less than or equal to.

Grants will be delivered on a first-come, first-serve basis and there is a limited fund available from the Government. To ensure you qualify for up to £5000 for green measures in your home, you must start the ball rolling as soon as possible!
